I DID IT!!!

Hey everybody,

I DID IT!!! Yesterday at 11:30 I because a highschool graduate! I am so happy and yes the diploma I recieved was real. :)

Graduation Saturday!

Hey ladies,
I thought I would stop in and let you all know that I have not fallen off the planet or anything. My trig teacher did not want to allow me to gradaute. I had to retake the 2nd and 3rd nine weeks tests( a total of 10 tests) in two weeks. Anyways I did it and had the final for this nine weeks turned in yesterday. I turned in all my books and I will be at the final graduation practice tomorrow. YAY!! So at 11:30 on Saturday I will be graduating as a Honors Magnet student. I promise you if I do not get my yellow rope tomorrow to go over my gown I will be so upset. The yellow rope symbolizes that I have completed my 4 years at my high school not taking regular classes, but taking honors magnet and ap classes. I am so happy. Anyways ladies, wish me luck. I am so ready to get back to painting and crafts and blogger!!! I miss you guys!!

Graduation scrapbook help!!

I'm trying to do a scrapbook type thing for my 2 best friends for graduation and I don't have the chip from my camera with our old prom pics and stuff from last year on it, do y'all know if there is a way I can print them off of a flash drive or something??? I dont have a photo printer or a color printer at the house so yeah, I'm lame I know. Help please. I'm not sure if any of that made since. Like pretty much what i'm trying to say is can i go to walmart or somewhere and print them off a flash drive or what?

I was watching the doctors and I seen The Freeman(sp?) on there and I decided to get on to go look at their page and see how Kayleigh was doing and I found out that The Freemans said goodbye to Kayleigh last night and I shedded my tears. strep, graduation, and tats

Thanks to all of you who have wished and prayed for me to get better. I am still battling this darn stuff and it sucks, right smack dab in the middle of finals.

Also I wanted to fill you all in on how the meeting with my teachers went the other day. My mom talked to all the other teachers besides the one that is trying to fail me first and they all said that I was a good student and was pretty much passing all of their classes with a's or high b's and then the counselor told the other teachers they could leave so that it would just be my mom, the counselor, and the trig teacher. Well two of my teachers did not leave and a third one did not want to go, but left anyways. The trig teacher pretty much told my mom that I WAS NOT going to pass at all. Well thats when my Government teacher a man, who keep in mind has never met me and my Lit teacher(who is very nice and has always been there for me) stood up for me. They told her they would not let her fail me and asked her what they could do to get me graduated. They kept on until she gave in. I will be sure to thank those two teachers on graduation day, because my mom said they literally fought for me. Anyways I have to work up until the day before graduation redoing tests from the second nine weeks without having someone standing over me to show that I do know what i'm doing. Also, I have a junior they assigned to come out to the house and help me with it, so that I can graduate in 2 weeks. Thats right folks, I will be graduating 2 weeks from tomorrow!!!

Alright on to my next BIG topic. I have been thinking about this for a while and I have decided that I want to get a tattoo to symbolize my struggle through highschool and with my sicknesses and how I am finally graduating and moving on with my life. I am really really leaning torwards birds because they kind of symbolize that with the whole flying away thing and all. Anyways I have found the one that I REALLY REALLY want and I'm not sure how it would go with my skin though. I have lots of freckles as y'all have seen and they are peppered across my shoulder. Anyways this is the tat I really want, so tell me what you think about how this will work with my freckles.

Also here are some other ones I like that I would love your input on. And feel free to send me some of the ones you all find that you think would symbolize my struggles and success.

Ugh, strep!!!

Well, it's official. I have strep throat :(

I started with a sore throat Tuesday night and yesterday I could hardly move my head and my lymph nodes were swollen and I couldn't eat because I can't even swallow my own spit. Yup, it's that bad. I couldn't get into the doctor yesterday, but when I woke up this morning with a fever of 103 they wanted me to come right in. The doctor took one look at my throat and was like this is awful. I am 95% positive this is strep throat. She's like if its not strep its mono so we are going to hope for strep when we run the test. She did one of those little 5 min. tests and came back and was like yup, it's strep. We definately didn't want it to be mono seeing as how I'm in the middle of finals. I had to do my senior project presentation and speech yesterday with an almost closed up throat, it was horrible.

Anyways, I just wanted to let you all know where I've been and where I'll be, because right now I'm headed back to bed.

Please say a prayer for me. My mom is headed to the school to have a meeting with my teachers. One of them does not want me to graduate and is trying her best to make me have to do credit recovery during the summer and not be able to march. Please pray that the meeting goes well and I get to graduate with my class!!

Update and weekend!

I thought I should give you all an update and let y'all know that my mom and me are talking again. At about 4 Friday she told me she was tired of fighting and didnt want to talk about it anymore. I have not brought the subject up anymore and neither has she. I spent the night Friday night with a friend and stayed the day,Saturday, with that friend. Sunday my mom and me went and got my niece and spent the day together. It was like nothing had ever happened. I don't like fighting with my mom becuase I really love my mom and she is my bestfriend. Anyways we have been talking again today, so I'm thinking things are ok for now.

Friend Makin' Monday

Yay, It's that time again, Friend Makin' Monday!! Today Amber is hosting for the adorable Kasey so ya get to head on over to Amber's and link up!

5 Toys that remind me of my childhood are:

1. This was one of my all time fav. toys. My sister was 11 years older than me and my brother was 9, so I played by myself for much of my life.

2. Then I got tired of that dollhouse alone, and asked for a new one for Christmas one year. This is what I got :) Instead of getting rid of the other doll house I had two houses and my room became a doll house..lol. I had a blast.

3. One year for my birthday or for Christmas, I'm not sure, my brother who got me hooked on mustangs, brought me this. I wore this car out. The top literally went up and down and it was my dream car. I vowed that I would have a convertable mustang also.

4. My granny and me used to watch this show all the time. My fav. was Po(the red one) while my Granny's was Lala( the yellow one). I even got the stuffed animals the year before my granny died and everyone picked on them because they still swear to this day that them things say bad words..lol. Now when I listen to them, I actually believe one of them really is saying something bad..lol..I'll let you guess which one.

5. And finally my parents sent me off to my grandparents for spring break one year and I came home to a real dollhouse in my back yard. My daddy had built me and actual house in the backyard to play with my dolls and have all my kitchens and tables in, cause lord knows I was running out of room inside. I even had two little white rocking chairs on a porch. It was awesome. It had windows and looked like an actual house. Sadly I only got to play with it for a few years, because when my brother moved back home, his weight machine and bed and stuff went in there for storage. It's still sitting in the back yard though, with still my brothers weight machine inside.
